Wonderful Day at the Outdoor Art Show at St Philip's

Yesterday was a really wonderful day....cool morning, sunshine in the afternoon and LOTS of really great people.  I was very thankful that I remembered to bring my long sleeves for the early morning set up!

We were assigned a wonderful site under a sweeping mesquite tree in the walled courtyard in front of the church.  The setting was perfect for our shelves and the shade from the trees plus the cool grass kept the afternoon sun quite comfortable for shoppers and sellers alike.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by our booth to shop or just say hello....you really made our day!

Now....back to the studio to make more pieces for the next two shows.

Great day in Tucson

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a fair here in Tucson.  Sunny, cooler with slight breeze to keep us cool.

The show at St. Marks was fun.  Met lots of new friends, many old friends stopped by and sales were good.

Chad made this great new display for hanging pieces that looked great and is really easy to set up.

Thanks to all that came out to say hello, shop and enjoy a beautiful day!

Wine, Utensils or Pencils...you decide !

I love holders of all sorts to organize my kitchen.  Often times my holders end up on the dining room table when we have guests when I use them as Wine Holders.

These make wonderful hostess gifts filled with your favorite holiday wine or other kitchen holiday goodies!

Getting Ready for Fall Shows

Summer is just about over and fall is right around the corner here in Tucson and we're busily getting ready for our fall show season.

These are a couple of my new wall pockets for this year.  They're great a few cuttings from the garden, a dried arrangement or a sprig of your favorite fall flowers.  They even look great by themselves.  All of the wall pockets do hold water, so you can enjoy having nature in your home.

The pocket above is 9" in height and is decorated with matching beads on copper wire.

The large pocket below is 10" in height and is also decorated with my hand-made beads on copper wire.

Please check out our events page for upcoming shows!

HAPPY 2012 !!

It's simply amazing how quickly time goes by!  A blink of the eye and now it's already half-a-month in to 2012!  Chad & I have been busily working to fill our inventory after our fun and successful holiday season.

14" Serving Platter
Chad has been experimenting with a new glaze combination of red & rutile with outstanding results.  These new pieces range from caramel colors to beautiful flowing purple-blues.  They look amazing outdoors in the sunshine!
He's made a range of sizes and shapes and has already sold over half of his new creations.

I can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
